The Wiwili Bridge is an iconic bridge in Freiburg im Breisgau in Germany. After its completion in 1886, the bridge was opened and named after Kaiser-Wilhelm-Brücke (Kaiser Wilhelm Bridge), in memory of the then Head of State. Its characteristic painting, however, gave it the name of Pont Bleu, a name by which it is still known today. In 2003, the Wiwili Bridge was renamed in the name of the partner city of Freiburg in Nicaragua.
