The Bois de Chênes (The oak wood) is an integral and scientific nature reserve, nestled between the municipalities of Genolier and Vich, a few kilometers from Nyon. Protected since 1966, the site is a sanctuary for flora and fauna. It is one of the largest Swiss lowland forest reserves with its 130 hectares.
