Giumaglio is a village and former municipality in the district of Vallemaggia in the canton of Ticino, Switzerland. It was first recorded in 1224 under the name Zumano. The commune had 300 inhabitants in 1591, which fell to 125 in 1761. Today its population is around 220 inhabitants. Former Ticino municipality of 13.17 km2, Giumaglio is now part of the municipality of Maggia.
